WHO?

We are a young company owned and operated by two passionate cyclists with 12 years of combined chalet holiday experience.

, a qualified industrial designer has worked in the 3 Valleys in France and came to Canada lured by the deep powder winters and MTB summers. He has spent the last four summers riding and racing Whistler's trails and competing to a high level in the sport.

has managed operations in many resorts across France including the 3 Valleys, les Deux Alpes, and Serre Chevalier, he then moved onto the worlds greatest resort 6 years ago, and has since been running Ski Miquel's operations there, renting one of the larger chalets as a B&B through the summer and now moving into the MTB sector. Mark has been racing since the age of 13, starting in Road Racing and now moving onto the real deal.

WHAT?

Bear Back Biking is aimed at both keen and experienced cyclist's who want to come and experience the thrills and spills of Whistler, the worlds best mountain bike park and the numerous surrounding trails.

There is absoultely no requirement that you are to any particular level of riding, just that you want to come and enjoy a top class holiday.

Non Riders are also more than welcome!

We aim to provide a hassle free holiday to ensure your maximum enjoyment of Whistler's world renowned biking scene.
From picking you up to dropping you back at the airport, everything in between is about you and your holiday.

A holiday with us is the result of years of experience in the industry catering to the complete cross section of guests. We know that everyone is different and individual's have different needs, demands and expectations. We truly believe that with our experience, we are able to get it right - every time!


Why have we set up Bear Back Biking?

Well, this has been our playground for a few years now, its a damn good one too!

We looked at what Whistler has to offer, who was offering it, and what there is available for tourists coming from the UK.
Whistler needs to be experienced, but the cost of holidays and the planning that currently has to go into organising a holiday to BC has made riders reluctant to travel to mecca.
In short, we are bringing you the best Whistler has to offer without the hastle of planning, with the best experience at a low cost to suit all budgets.

We are also trying to afford ourselves a lifestyle in this amazing post adolescent Disneyland!

WHERE?

Bear Back Biking is a Limited company registered in the UK.

Our base, and the majority of the operations are run out of Whistler BC Canada.

The Chalet is located in the upmarket Spruce Grove/ White Gold area of town just a short ride from the village and bike park, an even shorter ride into Lost Lake and situated opposite the frequent bus stop into the village and sports centre.

Where is Whistler?
Whistler is nestled in the Coastal Mountain range of British Columbia in Canada. A beautifully scenic 1 and a half hours drive from Downtown Vancouver or 2 hours from Vancouver international airport.
Vancouver is some 4500 miles from the UK - about an 8.5 hour flight from the major airports (London, Glasgow and Manchester)
